Hex Burner Carry Tote

Hex Burner Carry Tote

The idea for the tote was that when not in use, the Hex Burners could be stored in the clamshell tote. Additionally, when in use, the propane tank rests in one side of the tote.

Sort of an "ashtray" design, this model is intended to be slightly lower profile than the other Hex Burner and acts as a grease trap.

Eight sides instead of six, hence "Octo" Burner.

{ HEX BURNER MODULAR CAMP STOVE }

This project arose from redesigning a popular camping stove according to user research. My research indicated that there was a desire to make the stove look more user friendly and engaging for multiple users at once.

I came up with the idea to make it modular, in that additional Hex burners could be linked together to create configurations for whatever the camper desired to cook. Additionally, the burners could be assembled in multiple configurations at once, allowing multiple users.

One burner would be about 5 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches tall. The yellow part would be made out of heat resistant silicon, whereas the rest would be made of traditional steel.
